Whilst meditation is proving to be of benefit to many in respect of greater awareness, freedom from overthinking, and even changes to brain structure which impact favourably on reactive behaviours, there are sometimes deeply rooted, and typically hidden beliefs that form the basis of distressing responses such as phobias, panic, easily triggered anger or anxiety as well as other unwanted reactions and responses to life. These may require an intervention such as Mind Detox, created by Sandy Newbigging, that will uncover the root cause and enable you to resolve it swiftly. If you ever catch yourself asking “Why do I keep doing this?”, then a hidden, limiting belief may lie at the heart of it.
There is nothing to gain from being angry or feeling guilty about such responses. Many of the beliefs that form the basis of them were generated at an age when we were too young to evaluate, understand and properly process what was happening. Even more recent responses are formed unconsciously such that blame and self criticism can only serve to make things worse.
Mind Detox aims to uncover the beliefs we have formed which continue to limit our health and well-being long after they were first established. A child’s interpretation of an event / series of events can easily create beliefs of unworthiness, not being good at something, being unlovable, being alone to name just a few of the beliefs which can go on to affect the individual later in life.

A consultation is one hour, but it may need to be up to 90 minutes, especially in the case of a first meeting, so flexibility is built in to accommodate this.
